Elite Pro-Tax & Financial Services prepares and files individual and business returns, including past-due and amended returns, keeps the books and runs payroll, and gathers the records a response to the IRS or the South Carolina Department of Revenue needs. We are an independent tax and accounting firm and not a CPA firm. Where a matter requires professional representation, it is handled by the independent licensed CPA we work with, with our office coordinating.
Questions from new clients
How do I become a new client?
Book a consultation or start on the get started page. We confirm what you need, you upload your documents through the secure portal or bring them to the Easley office, and you get a quote before work begins. See your first appointment.
Is Elite Pro-Tax a CPA firm?
No. We are an independent tax and accounting firm. LaToya Clark-Thompson holds the IRS Annual Filing Season Program Record of Completion. Matters that require professional representation are handled by the independent licensed CPA we work with. See tax preparer or CPA.
Do I have to come into the office?
No. You can do everything virtually: upload documents to the portal, answer questions there, and review and sign electronically. See virtual tax preparation.
What does it cost?
It depends on what the return involves, so the fee is confirmed before any work begins. If you bring last year’s return and the invoice you paid for it, the Best Rate Guarantee applies. See how we quote.
Not the question you had? The full tax FAQ covers more ground, and our client reviews say what the work is actually like.
